The community of Arivaca, Arizona is proud
to host its annual Arivaca Independent
Filmmakers Exhibition – A film screening
event that is free and open to the public.
The Arivaca Independent Filmmaker's
Exhibition is a showcase for films and digital
media that embody the artistic spirit of the
independent filmmaker from insightful
documentaries to creative short films.
The event primarily showcases works of
Arizona filmmakers and themes inspired from
the desert Southwest. The Arivaca Film
Exhibition also presents experimental,
original and thought-provoking films, from
both Arizona and around the world.

Followed by an after-party at the La Gitana Bar
in downtown Arivaca.

Special thanks to Arivaca artist Arienne Ellis who painted a new road sign last year
incorporating the event’s logo she created for the Arivaca Film Exhibition. You can see
her paintings and totems at the Arivaca Artist’s Co-op in our historic downtown.
