Accommodations in Arivaca and surrounding areas.Arivaca is a small rural town approximated 25-miles off I-19 at the Arivaca Road exit in Amado, 1-¼ hours drive south of Tucson and 3-hours from Phoenix. Lodging is sparse but improving. We have a coffee shop, general store, artist’s co-op and a bar (and a few other things). If you find these accommodations booked, check with Steve at La Siesta Campgrounds - see below. Steve has vintage trailers, furnished yurts, RV-hookups & tenting sites. The weather in early March during the day can range from the mid-60’s to the mid-70’s. Nights in the 40’s but could dip into the 30’s (but it’s a dry cold!). See the Town of Arivaca website link below for additional businesses and a few additional lodging spots.
La Siesta Campgrounds - Arivaca, Arizona - Review by Drivin' & Vibin'
ABOUT THE ABOVE VIDEO: We're Kyle & Olivia - two millennials that decided we'd rather travel fulltime in our vintage camper than work endless jobs in the service industry. After a year of planning, we began our nomadic journey in September 2015. In this video we discuss our experience at La Siesta Campgrounds in Arivaca, Arizona. The campground offers electric & water hookups, dry camping, tent camp and vintage camper rentals. BLOG: http://drivinandvibin.com
