Paul McCreary retired in the mid-90s and escaped to Indiana, Colorado and now mostly in Arizona. His interests are varied and include art, writing, photography, golf, poker, teaching adults in Green Valley, and working on films. 7-Minute Storytelling with a Seven Year Old is an ingenious short film about a father reading and discussing a story with his daughter who imagines scenes in which the father acts out in an animated world.

Whirlygigs by Paul McCreary

In this documentary short, Paul McCreary profiles a Green Valley, Arizona couple, Justin and Carrel Loveless. Justin started doing kinetic art after 30 years running his own steel company. Carrel paints on metal or anything else she can. There are dozens of metallic artworks outside their home. They are down-to- earth, welcoming, true characters.

Here in Arivaca a group of about twenty people who get together three times a week to hit whiffle balls around with paddles. The game is a mix of skills related to tennis and ping pong on an area the size of a badminton court. The game was created in the sixties, but has grown greatly in popularity the past ten years, especially in senior communities. The idea was to use pickleball as an opportunity for Corwin to experiment with different filming techniques.
